My Role : As an intern at the Driscoll School in Brookline, I completed 150 hours of practicum experience with 8th grade students. I assisted the IT specialist in the development of lesson plans, the assessment of projects, and the delivery of classroom instruction.

Project : Computer Issues PSA

Description : Students worked in teams of 3-4 and developed a Public Service Announcement on one of four computer issues - Gender Equity, Copyright Infringement, Plaigarism, or Online Safety. Students had to create a powerpoint presentation on their topic, cite their internet sources using an online bibliography maker, and film a 60 second PSA using digital video cameras and iMovie. Each group presented their powerpoint and PSA to the class, then took a quiz of questions submitted by each group.
