Community clients have come to our design company in need of our experience and skills to make them attractive, competitive, and informative web sites.
You will be working with a design team specially assembled to accomplish this goal. In Stage 1, you and your team will be gathering critical information from your client in an interview. You will analyze the data in order to find the best design features for your client's site. You will plan the structrue of the site by making a flow chart, and then design a mockup of the layout. Your client will need to approve each decision you make in order to move on to the next stage. You will communicate with your client via email, phone, and face to face.
In Stage 2, your team will share the responsibilities of building and testing the web site from start to finish using the skills and tools you learned at our company.
In Stage 3, you will test the site and deliver a completed web site to your client. You adn your team will present the site and reflections about the process in a final meeting. You will earn course credit as well as community service learning hours.
