Issues of School

In this article I will be finding out how people feel about the issue of trust in TechBoston Academy. How people feel about trusting their fellow classmates and faculty is a question I am going around asking students around the school. My article will be based on the information that I collected from students that I interview. The two questions that I will be asking my interviewees are: Q1. Do you feel that you are able to trust your peers here at TechBoston? If not, why? Q2. Do you feel that TechBoston is a safe community? Why? Why not? The students that were interviewed were Karen, Jason, Andy, Danny, and Yancie. Here's what the students had to say.

Andy (Sophomore)

Q1.Of course I feel that I could trust my peers here at TechBoston.

Q2. Yes I do believe that TechBoston is a safe community, because the students are wonderful, and I have no problems with any of them.

Danny (Sophomore) Extra

Q1: Yeah, because we are a community.

Q2: Yeah it's safe because nothing really bad has happened.

Yancie (Sophomore)

Q1: Not really, because a lot of the students here at TechBoston are trust worthy.

Q2: Yeah it's straight, because we haven't had any major confrontations yet.

Sharisse (Freshman)

Q1: I do not think I can trust all of my peers at TechBoston only the ones that I'm close to. I can only trust the ones that I hang out with outside of school.

Q2: Yeah I do feel like TechBoston is a safe community. Anywhere is a safe community you just have to make it one. To make a place safe takes you and others to make it safe.

Lachele (Freshman)

Q1: Yea I can trust some more than others. Reason being because I know some better than others.

Q2: Yea the community is safe. I say this because if we ever feel really threatened there are authorities to notify.

Alvin Cooper (Staff)

Q1: When you say peers, do you mean teachers? Yes, I trust the teachers.

Q2: Yes, I feel safe at TechBoston. Just because we are in a different building, our students have not changed. We are raising the level of expectations for everyone here. Safety is one of those expectations.
