Man's inhumanity. We can never forget how much people suffered. The red shoes really moved me as you. I hope these camps survive forever so it will not happen again. It is however, happening in Africa. Women raped, people killed, children left alone. I often wonder if I would have spoken up or would I be too afraid. The Pope, the German people, the outside world, all turned a blind eye. How much the world lost with the deaths of scientists, musicians,doctors, teachers and the future generations of these people.
